On the Zonneplein in Amsterdam North, the two branches of Bar Kauffmann serve an extensive menu that revolves around falafel and Mediterranean flavors. The menu consists largely of vegetarian dishes, with falafel as the main ingredient in various pitas combined with ingredients such as grilled eggplant, halloumi, mango chutney and tzatziki. Vegan options are possible, such as the sabich with cauliflower instead of egg. In addition to the pitas, the menu offers quesadillas, side dishes such as grilled cauliflower and sweet potato fries, plus a selection of house-made lemonades.
