Brasserie Jansen has been a household name in Zwolle for more than ten years. Since 2022, the restaurant has been taken over by Jonnie and Thérèse de Boer, who own several restaurants, both in the area and abroad. At Jansen guests are welcome from 10 am to 10 pm for lunch, brunch, dinner or a drink. There are many vegetarian options on the menu, so there is plenty of choice for vegetarians. There are no standard vegan dishes on the menu, but the avocado sandwich can also be served without an egg, just like the vegetarian club sandwich.

The food was very tasty, but the choice for vegetarians is very limited. In fact, there are only 2 vegetarian main courses on the menu. We took both and they were both of high quality, very tasty and surprising in price.
