You can find fresh, Roman wood oven pizzas at the Pizzabakkers. In 2009, two couples founded the first restaurant in Amsterdam. There are now more than 30 locations throughout the Netherlands, where young and old like to come by for a refined, light pizza. There are only a few vegan pizzas on the menu, but you can swap the cheese on more pizzas for vegan gorgonzola. There are also a good number of vegetarian options on the menu. De Pizzabakkers - Plantage Kerklaan is located in the beautiful Plantage Neighborhood. In good weather there is a large terrace on the water.
