Description

Eetcafe Spinoza also calls itself the 'cosiest eatery in the North'. They have been located in the center of Leeuwarden for more than 30 years, and since 2014 they have been serving a completely vegan menu in addition to the animal dishes. There are even more vegetarian dishes than with meat or fish. It is a café full of surprises: you can book a theater dinner, they have a hidden cocktail bar and wine cellar. They also have a big terrace.

I already had dinner a year ago, but now that the restaurant is on RestauPlant I can't resist leaving a review. What a nice tent! A relief to find a cozy restaurant with so many vegan options in the Far North. We were 2 vegans and 2 omnivores, and even the omnivores were impressed by the vegan options. Extra fun: we were looking for Cachasa but the supermarkets didn't have it anywhere. Then the waiter went into the cellar for us to see if they had it. How sweet is that!
