Gezana means 'home' in Tigrinya (Eritrean). And that homely atmosphere is exactly what the owners of this Eritrean restaurant are trying to create. The spicy dishes from East African cuisine make the restaurant smell of delicious herbs, and on the soft couches you find colorful pillows. There are many fish and meat dishes on the menu, but luckily the Eritrean cuisine is also very suitable for vegans. There are more than 10 vegan main courses on the menu. An injera, which is a type of sourdough pancake, is served with every main dish. After thoroughly washing your hands, you can grab the injera and use it to scoop up your food.
