Description
Restaurant Hemelse Modder is a restaurant located on the Oude Waal, between Amsterdam Central Station and the Nieuwmarkt. The restaurant serves Western European cuisine and has something for everyone on the menu, ranging from vegetarian, vegan, fish and meat. You can compose your own 3-, 4- or 5-course menu from the á la carte menu and enjoy what the kitchen prepares in a friendly atmosphere. In summer there is a nice quiet terrace located behind the restaurant. Inside, there is room for both small and large groups.

You can order a vegan and vegetarian dish with each course. It is therefore no problem to eat 4/5 courses vegan or vegetarian. The dishes are tasty and the atmosphere here is good. Small detail: You will receive a buttered sandwich on the table in advance, even if you order the vegan dishes, but this is not taken into account.
Nice food, good location.
One of the waiters was very impatient if we did not make a decision very quickly and did not solve this very neatly! Fortunately, the rest were very friendly.
