Description
Le Jardin is known for ''vegetablenomie'': the art of tasty food and drinks with vegetables and herbs as a starting point. You can be surprised at the restaurant with a 2- to 4-course for lunch or 4- to 6-course dinner inspired by the season and with local products. All dishes are in the basic plant-based and for an additional charge it can be served with fish or meat. If you make a reservation and indicate that you want to eat vegan, 7 of the total 8 dishes can be served vegan.

On a sultry Saturday evening we had a six-course dinner here on the beautiful terrace at Mariaplaats. Actually, all the vegetable dishes were delicious, but a few stood out, for example the pointed cabbage with jalapeño sauce. The dessert was heavenly, white chocolate with pickled cherry, dark chocolate and bastogne cookie crumble. The wine was perfect and also affordable.
