Mamma Peppino is an Italian restaurant in Alkmaar. Unlike most Italian restaurants, most of the menu is vegetarian or even completely vegan. Here you will find a menu that changes every few weeks, with homemade pasta, dessert and bruschetta.

Delicious vegetarian/vegan food. Map is clear, not very much, but very good. Completely full on one Tuesday evening says it all. Service was fine, cordial. Because we had to wait a bit longer (it wasn't too bad), we each got 3 appetizers. The ravioli and lasagna were delicious, with really vegetables and well prepared. The meat eater was also satisfied. The chocolate tiramisu is highly recommended. When I reported that we had found this restaurant through Restauplant, the chocolates on the bill were replaced by vegan chocolates.
Tasty prepared, dishes that I don't make very often at home. Also a choice of organic wine. Price/quality in order: €91.50 for 3 people: drinks (beer, wine, Spa), main course and dessert. 30.50 pp
