Description

Restaurant Neni is located in the former Amsterdam Citroën garage and consists of three parts: the restaurant, the cocktail bar and the bakery. Restaurant Neni is an Israeli, Mediterranean restaurant with dishes to share. There are plenty vegan and vegetarian options on the menu. They also offer a chef's menu that can also be served vegan and vegetarian on request. The bakery sells breads, cakes and pies that are not vegan but vegetarian. And off course at the cocktail bar you can drink delicious cocktails, most of them are lemon-based cocktails.

Nice restaurant on the stadium square. We were there for Sunday brunch on a warm Sunday. The time was slightly less suitable; I thought the restaurant was nicer inside than outside/the terrace and is perhaps more atmospheric when it is nice and full in the evening. The food was tasty. And especially the vegetarian options. But in our opinion the service could really be better, especially to justify the prices. Hence the somewhat lower figure. But maybe we were just unlucky!

The reception, the vegetarian mezzes, especially the sabich!, the concept of the Sunday brunch where the table is filled with mezzes and you really get something of everything for a fixed price, the aperitif (which was included in that price).

The service was invisible and unreachable after they had taken the first order, the only open wine from the region of the kitchen was simply not tasty, the second round of wines were forgotten, we had, among other things, a chicken dish; the portion was too big and it was quite boring (salty marinated chicken), we thought it was pricey (32.50 for the menu), the brunch menu was also actually just too much for us.
