Description
Ristobar Cinecitta, or Ristobar29, is housed in the former coffee house of Liederentafel Souvenir des Montagnards. In this national monument from 1876, you also find the oldest cinema in the Netherlands. You can combine lunch or dinner with a movie, but you can also come here without seeing a movie. For example for a cup of coffee and a good piece of cake. All patisserie is made in-house, just like the sourdough bread. The style of the kitchen could be characterized as going along with the developments in the world and the seasons. The menu mainly consists of more classic dishes, but you can also order a Dutch Weed Burger. You can also get a vegan three-course menu here. It is nice if you indicate this when making the reservation, but this is not necessary.

Last night we had dinner with 5 people, 1 of whom was vegan (me). There were 2 vegan options for the main courses and 1 for the desserts. No vegan starter. I chose the gado gado. Promising if there were more choice!
The dish has a lot of flavor, the ambiance is good, the service is friendly.
Only a main course is not enough (rice is not served as standard), no vegetable options with starters, dessert only 1 option and I already knew it (beet cake, I thought it was mediocre).
