Description

The Bamboo Room is a cozy restaurant with exotic dishes and delicious cocktails. Owners Micha and Lilian were inspired by Micha's Surinamese roots and their travels through Asia. The menu is an exotic mix of Asian dishes, Surinamese delicacies and the occasional trip to another country. Almost half of the menu is vegetarian, so there is a lot of choice for vegetarians and vegans.

  • Thai Noodle Salad Thai salad with rice noodles, carrots, cucumber, a fresh dressing and fresh herbs.
  • Vegan Tempura Taco Sushi meets tacos! two tacos made from nori and tempura, filled with sushi rice and vegan tuna. for an extra appetite, it's also possible to order a third taco.
  • Vegan Bara's Two golden-brown fried snacks made from ground yellow split peas, subtly seasoned with surinamese spices. a unique cross between a savory donut and an airy fritter. filled with jackfruit massala and served with a crisp, tangy mango chutney.

  • Apple Gyoza Crispy apple dumplings prepared in asian style, filled with deliciously sweet apples. served with our homemade pandan ice cream.
  • Bamboo High Tea Regular or vegetarian arrangement. with bamboo high tea, you enjoy two hours of unlimited tea and a tiered stand filled with sweet and savory delicacies. not available vegan, but vegetarian.
  • Bueno Tiramisu Discover the ultimate indulgence: kinder bueno meets tiramisu. a true celebration for your taste buds. delicious paired with an espresso martini.
