Since 2024, Maastricht has had a new plant-based restaurant: Bar Verde. Plant-based comfort food is served here, from Italian spaghetti to Greek moussaka and Indonesian satay. You can have lunch and dinner here, but also drop by for a drink.

Lovely restaurant. Nice menu, great service and you can taste the passion for making the dishes. Top location just outside the city, easy parking but also easily accessible by bicycle. There are also vegan options that offer a good alternative for meat eaters. The menu changes seasonally, which is surprising and appropriate for the season. In short, my favorite!
Clear menu, lots of variety, an eye for detail, sensation for your taste buds, nice service, nice ambiance, good price-quality ratio, nice portions, you can also share food or just take starters because it is difficult to choose and they are all equally delicious
