Cafe - restaurant de Tolhuistuin is located in the cultural center de Tolhuistuin. The Tolhuistuin has a restaurant inside and a nice big terrace outside for when the weather is good. The menu offers dishes from all over the world that are easy to share, so you can take a culinary journey all over the world. About half of the menu are vegan and vegetarian dishes. For dinner, the menu is divided into vegan, vegetarian, meat and fish. Everything is mixed up on the lunch menu. There is something for everyone at the Tolhuistuin. Note: you can only pay by card here.

The vegan caesar salad from the Tollhuistuin has my heart 💚🥗 and the vegan parm they use for it is amazing! Tolhuistuin also has a number of other vegan dishes and is a great option if you want to sit outside/drink cocktails/eat with some non vegan friends. We got the roasted artichoke (10/10), vegan rendang (7/10 - a bit too intense for me) and bara with cauliflower curry burger (not pictured - 9/10).
