Had a group dinner for work at Tolhuistuin and the vegetarian menu was a good variety. Not all of them were direct hits, but the various dishes satisfied my mixed group very well.

Very mediocre lunch experience. The vegan/vegetarian menu is passé, what remains are actually mediocre options. A Caeser salad drenched in garlic dressing, a dry croquette with sour mustard. The location will remain, but I won't come here for the food anymore.

The vegan caesar salad from the Tollhuistuin has my heart 💚🥗 and the vegan parm they use for it is amazing! Tolhuistuin also has a number of other vegan dishes and is a great option if you want to sit outside/drink cocktails/eat with some non vegan friends. We got the roasted artichoke (10/10), vegan rendang (7/10 - a bit too intense for me) and bara with cauliflower curry burger (not pictured - 9/10).
