They were gone for a little while, but they're back: H/earth! A cozy restaurant where they serve a completely plant-based menu. From their old location in De Pijp they moved to a new location in Amsterdam East. With all kinds of sushi, soulfood dishes, cocktails and delicious wines you can enjoy lunch, dinner and drinks till late in the evening. In the weekend, they play live music with local and international talents.

Vegan starters and main courses were very good. Beautifully served and super good flavors. Unfortunately, the desserts were a bit disappointing for the price. Super nice service, good ambiance and very nice non-alcoholic options (ipa beer, riesling sparkling and mocktails). Definitely recommended for a completely vegan tent, great!

I was really excited to go to Hearth, but it was actually a bit disappointing. Everything tasted fine, but nothing was really surprising, and that's what I had hoped. The desserts in particular were disappointing, especially for the price. And I was shocked by the wine prices, the cheapest glass was 7 or 8 euros. Nice place, where you can eat relatively simple vegetable dishes. The 'falafel waffle' was very tasty, but the sushi roll was a bit dull and the vegan ravioli was a bit too salty. The ambiance pretends that Hearth is more than it currently lives up to.

One of the top adresses for a great time in the heart of Amsterdam, head to Hearth Amsterdam Book on the weekend for some live music entertainment with your meal or during the week for a more chill evening. Italian inspired, the menu has innovative dishes that surprise both eyes and taste buds. Not only that, the environment and decor is modern and tasteful and staff is lovely. 10/10 recommend!
Nice restaurant, very nice staff (English speaking), great service. Good choice, completely vegan. A bit too much pasta, rice and processed food for me. I prefer the purer, more recognizable dishes instead of a puree or a tartare... It's a matter of taste, which was good.

Friday evening we went out for dinner at H/earth. Super nice and hip restaurant with only plant-based dishes. The restaurant has a hip and cozy vibe in a nice street in Amsterdam East. The starters we ordered were super tasty. See photo sushi and colorful dish. We found the main courses to be variable. The gnocchi was a bit boring, but we loved the ravioli. Because we wanted to taste everything on the menu, we also took two desserts. This also varied. I loved the Lemon Curd, but to be honest I really didn't like the Tiramisu. All in all I thought it was a very nice restaurant. Good vibes, but the food was variable.
