Description
Since 2004 you can go to restaurant Hagedis for a vegan and (largely) organic meal. The building is located in a monumental former school building and also has a spacious, green terrace. The nice thing about the location is that the tenants largely manage the building themselves, including management and any renovations. This way you can be sure that the building is furnished to Lizedis' own taste. Reservations are definitely recommended. If you prefer to cook at home, you're in luck: Lizardis also occasionally gives vegan cooking workshops, where you learn new tips & tricks to take home with you. And if you are unfortunately not such a talent in the kitchen, don't worry; you can also hire Lizard for catering.

I was in The Hague for work last weekend and ended up here to eat. I am not vegan myself, but I was surprised by the delicious food, the friendly staff and the beautiful old building.
The food was really delicious! I found the staff very friendly and I understood that they all come from different countries, which makes it extra fun. Really enjoyed it!
