Description
The Veganees already reveals its name! In August 2021, the Veganees opened its doors in Amsterdam. Here you can experience a culinary journey through Thailand, Korea, Japan and more. The menu is completely vegan. All dishes are a bit smaller and can be shared so you can taste a lot of dishes from the menu. In addition to the restaurant, they also have a nice terrace where you can sit outside. Make a reservation in advance because this hotspot is populair during the weekend.
Delicious food, nice tasty dishes and beautifully presented
Tasteful, beautifully decorated, cozy restaurant, nice employees
Not the cheapest restaurant but definitely worth it

For the first time we looked at the menu for a long time. We couldn't choose! Everything, literally everything, sounded wonderful.
The sweet service, the wonderful 80's music, the atmosphere.

What a nice tent. Delicious food, friendly service and just a nice atmosphere. I'm not always a fan of the shared dining concept, but I thought it worked out well here; Nice that for some dishes you can choose whether you take 4 or 6 pieces (handy, because there were 5 of us).

Tasty! Enjoy sharing snacks and a nice atmosphere! Perfect for a casual evening out
Good portions, tasty flavors, papaya salad was surprisingly tasty as was the cauliflower!
Nothing!!

Super nice restaurant to eat with a small group or as a couple. They have many small dishes with 2/3 portions, so you can share everything together and try extra food. The highlight for us was the wonton pizzas. We also have super tasty cocktails!

Had a delicious meal at the Veganese. All small Asian dishes to share. Good atmosphere, friendly staff and nicely decorated restaurant. Also a nice terrace for a drink when the weather is nice.
Friendly staff
Tip for the kitchen: I thought the Bao Bun was too greasy, I think I would have liked a little less fat.

We went to Veganees for lunch. As avo-toast lovers, of course we had to try the avocado toast with scrambled tofu (lekker). But also the other dishes looked very tasty.
Cozy vibe and diffrent food options.
Cappuccino could be better.

You’re vegan, you’re in Amsterdam, and you like Asian Food…? The Veganees has got you covered 🙌🏻 Went there today for lunch with a friend and we ordered a selection of small share plates, but I’m very keen to go back and try one of their mains! 😍 We had the Korean Fried Cauliflower (super delicious flavour and not overly fried which was perfect), bao buns with oyster mushroom & crunchy tempeh, gyozas, and of course my one true love… edamame 🙏🏻
Nice, hip and tasty restaurant. Asian dishes that you can share.
Tasty little snacks.
Some dishes dry, as if they came from the microwave.

Very tasty food. Admiration for the kitchen that absolutely everything is Vega. Wide choice. Super tasty beers too. Great night out as 🌱!

Ordered via Uber Eats. The cauliflower wings are delicious, the bao buns are just delicious, but I didn't like the stir fry noodles at all. Just a bunch of noodles with some soy and broccoli in it. Meh, for the money it costs you'd be better off eating/ordering vegan.
Delicious cauliflower wings
Noodles were really the way you put them together yourself in three minutes

Meal: Cauliflower wings, boa buns & stir fry noodles (vegan)
Asian street food is often vegan and the menu looked great! Not as if things have been left out or replaced to make non-vegan dishes vegan. Also a nice, cozy interior. Nice for a small snack. There were just the two of us on an ADE evening so it was not that busy, while I think it is normally full. Still, we had a nice time. For us, the flavors could only be more exciting. We thought the Korean fried cauliflower with gochujang was a hit and ordered several portions. We actually all expected a little more from the other dishes, fine but not 'wow' in terms of taste. Often a bit flat, missing a citrus hint, a little pepper, a crunch. If the chefs fine-tune this a bit, it is highly recommended!
Atmosphere, sharing concept so you can try a lot, the Korean cauliflower, portion size, service, speed.
Such a shame: no 'wow feeling' with most dishes, the taste was a bit flat, the alcohol-free 'aperol spritz' was a bit boring in taste.
