Description

Maartje Borst opened the doors of Koffie ende Koeck in 2014. She has been taught cooking and baking from her parents from a very early age and you can taste and see that in the cakes she bakes and the lunch you can eat here. Meanwhile, Koffie en de Koeck has been taken over by Leonie and Ruby. Koffie ende Koeck is a fully vegan lunchroom where you can drink coffee, taste the beautifull cakes and lunch that are all freshly made. Looking for a high tea? That's also possible, but please make a reservation in advance. Do you like the food and cakes? In addition to the lunchroom, Maartje has also written a number of vegan cookbooks that you can buy on her in the shop and at the website.

Had high tea with my friend. Super tasty and we were so full that they took 3 pieces of cake home. The tea was also very tasty! In terms of sandwiches, I find the options a bit limited, so I don't know if I would come here for an extensive lunch.

🥐Vegan almond cream croissant🥐 A few weeks ago I made my boyfriend Walt scooter me across the city to visit Koffie en de koeck to try out their vegan #semla buns🛵. Unfortunately when we arrived they were all sold out, but the lovely lady at the store suggested getting an almond croissant with cream instead and it was amazingggg 🤩👌🏼✨ if you haven’t visited Koffie ende Koeck yet it’s totally worth the visit from wherever you are in the city, just show up early before things sell out (or come late and get a delicious alternative instead 🤪)

The cakes here are finger-licking good. Really very powerful, I think half is enough for you.

Vegan cream and cakes are often not a great combo, but they can do it here!

Cakes are really super delicious

Cozy little tent. Been for lunch with a friend.

Everything is vegan so that's great! They don't have a lot of choice in terms of sandwiches, but they are tasty.

The croissant was a bit too sweet for my taste.

I went to lunch at Koffie ende Koeck with a friend. A cute little vegan lunch spot near the Westerpark. You could choose from cakes and three different sandwiches. Opted for two sandwiches and shared and croissant.

The sandwiches were tasty and the service was very friendly. I dropped my coffee and immediately got a new one.

I didn't like the croissant that much.
