Yemayá's is named after the African-Caribbean Santeria goddess of the sea who symbolizes connection. Everything revolves around connection, togetherness and empowerment. The owners want to introduce Amsterdam-South East to a sustainable vegan lifestyle in an accessible way. Yemayá's menu includes various dishes such as soups, burgers, pitas and Surinamese dishes.

THE BEST (surinamese) vegan spot. The ‘shoarma’/pom/gruntu of the day (in a bowl) are my favs! Dont sleep on this one.
The food absolutely, everything on the menu is yummy, the people, lovely owners, hard workers.
Maybe best to call them with your order and then pick up. Sometimes its busy. But when you have time, please take a seat and relax. Its worth it.
