BACKYARD wil het stereotype rondom veganisme doorbreken. Ze doen dit door vegan gerechten te serveren die aantrekkelijk zijn voor alle type eters. Het restaurant heeft een relaxte sfeer en is de ‘stadse achtertuin’ in hartje Rotterdam. Je kunt binnen zitten in BACKYARD of, als het goed weer is, lekker op het terras. De kaart is in de basis vegan, maar met add-ons cateren ze ook naar gasten die niet geheel vegan wensen te eten.

We love Backyard a lot, it became our 'Go-To' place when we feel like having a drink and a nice simple bite. But it is also perfect for having a nice lunch/diner! The menu is not super special, but there is nothing wrong with that :) We can recommend visit this nice restaurant!

We went to Backyard for lunch and were happy to see that we could still order from the breakfast menu as well. The place is nice (and spacious) and the staff was very friendly. We ordered the oreo cake, the waffles and the feta wrap. The oreo cake was as sweet and delicious as we had hoped for and we truly enjoyed the huge piece of cake. We also really liked the taste of the feta wrap - the feta was tasty and the veggies in it were crispy, the sauce was good as well. Only the waffles did unfortunately not meet our expectations. The waffle it self wasn't really special and the blueberry topping was not fresh. We will however be back to try some of their other dishes in the future :)
