Description
Elixer was founded in 2019 in the Bijlmer, but has been located in Amsterdam-Oost since November 2023. You can come here for a surprise dinner (vegetarian and vegan options are also available), but there is also a menu with regular dishes. Elixir engages in various social activities. For example, you can borrow or exchange tools here, they sometimes donate food parcels or organize a free neighborhood breakfast. You can also go there for a pub quiz and there is often something fun organized on Sundays, such as a live music afternoon or a games tournament.

Quirky, cozy restaurant with a delicious seasonal surprise menu (€43.50 pp). This is a place where you feel comfortable staying for hours and I love that they host events and sustainable initiatives for the surrounding neighbourhood. Will definitely be back.
The food - everything was fresh and well seasoned. I particularly liked the wild mushroom salad, lemony pasta and mashed potato main. The cocktails were also creative (and strong!)
